How Does it Work?

3 Nitrogen Sources

3 different forms of Nitrogen combine to release at different times, feeding your lawn more efficiently for longer.   Ammonium sulfate is quickly taken up by the grass plant and lasts between 4 and 6 weeks.  XCU starts releasing after about 2 weeks and lasts between 6 and 8 weeks.  Duration CR 90 starts working after 3 weeks and lasts between 8 and 10 weeks.

How is it Different?

Most fertilizer brands contain less than 30% slow release nitrogen .  Our Premium Turf Fertilizer contains over 90% slow release nitrogen.  Slow release nitrogen is more efficient and effective at feeding plants than quick release nitrogen sources.  Studies show over 2/3 of quick release urea ends up leaching through the soil or is lost to the atmosphere before it even reaches the grass plant.  This is not only bad for the environment, but it is a waste of time and money.  

 

Our Premium Turf Fertilizer is less than 10% quick release nitrogen in the form of Ammonium Sulfate.  It is a small but highly effective amount of nitrogen that results in greener grass with a manageable amount of growth.   It helps kick start the grass, and gives time for the slow release nitrogen to start to break down.  Once the Ammonium Sulfate starts to fade, the slow release forms of nitrogen start to kick in and feed the lawn for an addition 4-6 weeks.
